School of Professional Studies & Science

The School for Professional Studies and Science supports Landmark College’s Mission to “… provide highly accessible approaches to learning that empower individuals who learn differently to exceed their aspirations and to achieve their greatest potential” and the Educational Vision to “promote creative and scholarly engagement, foster understanding of and respect for self and others, and develop resilient and ethically responsible global citizens.”

Every student in the School of Professional Studies and Science becomes a member of our community of scholars, working closely together with faculty and peers to advance the fields of business, communication, life science, computer science, and math.

The curriculum of our program emphasizes learning by doing. Study plant development in our campus greenhouse or conduct tree core sampling from the surrounding forest. Write for our student magazine Voices, or pitch a novel business idea in our LEAP program. Our instructional philosophy of experiential learning allows students at every level to develop critical thinking skills while providing broad, deep and state-of-the-art training.

The School of Professional Studies and Science offers courses in five areas and delivers degree programs in four:

Our goal is to deliver interdisciplinary curricula across all four areas. This is accomplished through shared classroom experiences across disciplines as well as interdisciplinary internships and work experiences.

As you examine the various degrees offered by the school, you will see one common thread: the Landmark College difference. Not only are our faculty content experts, they are also trained to work with students who learn differently. In addition to classroom work, we encourage students to explore their discipline through experiential opportunities, whether it be internships or research projects.

At Landmark College, we strive to meet students where they are on their academic path and help them achieve their goals—even if that includes attending another institution of higher education.

Because every individual’s circumstance is unique, we offer more entry and transition points than the average college, and sometimes it can be difficult to see how they all connect.

Use this interactive tool to see all the on-ramps and offramps Landmark College offers to get students where they want to go. You can also always contact a member of our Admissions team and discuss which option would be best suited for you.
